Who is Diploma program for project managers suitable for?

Graduated project manager suits you as:

  • lack or have little experience in professional project management and will call you project manager in your professional role.
  • perhaps have worked as a project manager for several years or led a number of projects, but who have not acquired accepted knowledge in project methodology and leadership.
  • have general knowledge in Project Management and want to both deepen and verify these.

Your skills after the training

You will have knowledge of modern perspectives on your role as project manager in your organization. Your prior knowledge

To give you the best opportunity to get the most out of the training, you should have:

  • at least three years of work experience in an area where you will run projects.
  • an employment or equivalent which means that you will professionally work as a project manager.

Content

Day 1-3 Project methodology – how to do it?

The first part of Diplomad Project Manager focuses on project methodology, i.e. which methods and tools are best for you to use in order to be successful with your project? Together with the trainer, projects are put into context by giving you an overview of projects as a working method as well as the management and control of operations. We continue with how to create effective and accurate projects.

We cover topics such as:

  • understand and work based on the project model management and control and organization of projects to create and develop a project idea,
  • do a feasibility study and define goals to plan,
  • structure and prepare to implement projects to lead,
  • manage, follow up and create control in projects to deliver and hand over the project’s results and benefit realization

Day 4-5 Project leadership – how do you lead?

In the second part of Certified Project Manager, we focus on applying knowledge of leadership, where we place extra focus on leadership in the role of project manager. How do you get your project members on board so that they engage?

We cover topics such as:

  • understand yourself and others communication
  • to quickly raise the efficiency of temporary work
  • teams conflict
  • management competence and staffing

Your certification

After the training, you as a participant can take a knowledge test that verifies your knowledge. You will then be certified by the P&P Project Academy.
